With "We Up", i wanted to continue to explore the important,  giant moments in black life that America ignores (hence being cut of by the wall). Something people take for granted is the power of a black mother, willing to give their child the world. Carrying the load. Enjoying life, all with a simple but powerful desire... a desire to just live. With the lost of so many unarmed black women,  is it really crazy to ask "Can I Live?".  Live without the street harassment,  the stereotypes,  and more that they endure.
